Welcome & Consultation
For your session with me, there is no particular preparation needed. Of course, good hygiene (in other words, a recent shower) is always appreciated and will contribute to the smooth running of the session.
When you arrive, you may be offered a glass of water or a herbal tea. These drinks are of course complimentary.
If you would like to use the toilet before your massage, please mention it when you arrive.
After a short consultation in which you will define the outline of your massage (areas, pressure, recent injuries to take into account, pain to work on or not, etc.), you will have a few minutes alone in the treatment room to undress, remove your jewellery (necklace, bracelets, watch, rings…) and settle onto the massage table.
Below is a list of the main contraindications to massage. Although I can adapt most of my treatments, please let me know if any of these situations apply to you.
You can be massaged clothed, keeping your underwear on, or with disposable underwear that I can provide.
As a general rule, all I ask of you is to relax as much as possible.
At any time, please let me know about the slightest discomfort (cold, pressure, music, etc.) and I will do my best to adapt so that your experience is a pleasant one.
At the end of the session, I give you some time (a few minutes) to get dressed. If time allows, you can take a moment to enjoy the effects of the treatment, with one last herbal tea…
Non-exhaustive list of contraindications:
-
venous thrombosis / phlebitis
-
hereditary collagen disease (multiple epiphyseal dysplasia, Stickler syndrome…)
-
inflammatory or autoimmune disease in an acute phase
-
fracture, trauma, recent surgery…
-
contagious illness, fever
-
contagious skin infection (impetigo, erysipelas…)
-
recent and painful herniated disc (acute phase)
-
advanced osteoporosis
-
high-risk pregnancy (requiring bed rest)
-
It is best to consult your doctor before booking: massage can be adapted for some conditions or physical situations, but for others it is contraindicated.

Palpation and mobility test
Before starting the massage, I suggest a short exploration of your mobility. A few simple movements — bending forward, rotations, raising and opening the arms, neck and hip mobility… — show how your body moves today. These tests have two essential purposes:
-
Assess your general mobility and spot any areas of restriction.
-
Create a conscious starting point, an Empreinte of your sensations before the session.
You can take this opportunity to note, mentally or on a scale from 0 to 10, the areas that pull, limit you or cause discomfort. This short self-observation will be useful at the end of the session: it will let you compare your state, feel the changes and fully appreciate the effects of the massage.
Visual observation and palpation of the phalanges
My methodology has also led me to develop an original test, based on observing and palpating your phalanges — hands and feet. These micro-areas, often overlooked, are true indicators for me: they reveal deep tensions and compensations, and precisely guide the priority areas to work on.
This observation time allows me to:
-
identify the most relevant restrictions,
-
adapt the session to your current state,
-
adjust my touch so that it is accurate, effective and beneficial.
I also take a moment to share my reading of your body with you and let you feel, in real time, the areas that call for correction. It is a gentle and educational way to begin the session together, with clarity and awareness.

Personalised, individual massage
Each massage is fully adapted to your body, to how you are at that moment and to your real needs. The pressure is adjusted continuously: you should always feel it as right, effective and comfortable. The aim is never to force, but to work deeply without creating unbearable sensations. This is what is called “exquisite pain”: an intensity that feels good, a precise sensation that releases, with the awareness that what you are receiving is right for you.
During the session, you may be asked to change position — on your front, on your back, on your side, sitting… For this reason, I recommend that women wear a bra: it lets you stay completely at ease during these transitions, while keeping fluidity and privacy.
You may also be asked to retest certain movements during the session. This immediate feedback lets me refine my work, adjust my strategy or assess in real time the improvements already there. Your body then becomes a true guide, and we move forward together, step by step.
My table is heated so that you are never cold: warmth encourages relaxation, breathing and a deeper release. Your comfort is my priority. Never hesitate to express a need: asking for an extra blanket, going to the toilet, blowing your nose, adjusting your position… All of this is part of a lively, respectful and adapted session.
Your breathing can also accompany you: it helps you release, welcome and let things flow.
You are free to use your words, your sensations, your silences — whatever helps you stay comfortable and present to yourself.
I pay particular attention to making sure everyone feels safe, physically as well as emotionally. A space where you can let go, relax and receive a deeply personalised treatment.

End of session: integration and transition
Take all the time you need to get up and get dressed calmly. This moment is part of the treatment: it lets you observe the changes already present in your body, and feel what flows differently, what has calmed down, what has been released.
The end of the session is also an opportunity to retest your mobility: a movement, a rotation, a bend… You can assess it mentally, visually, or with a simple score from 0 to 10. Putting words or a measure on your sensations makes the improvements visible, sometimes subtle, sometimes spectacular.
It is also a time to talk. You can share how you feel, your questions, your surprises. For my part, I can offer you — if needed — some advice, exercises or recommendations to anchor the benefits over time and avoid the irritants that could reduce the effects of the treatment too quickly.
How you feel as you leave is not always how you will feel the next day: many people tell me they feel even better 24 to 48 hours later. Let your body integrate, adjust and continue its work.
Enjoy it to the full.
We can also talk about the possible rebound effect: it is neither systematic nor predictable, and should not worry you. When it appears, it is often part of the natural rebalancing process. I always place it within a long-term view of care, where each session fits into an overall journey.
Although very clear improvements can occur in a single session, they naturally last longer when treatments are repeated at regular intervals.
If you wish, I can answer your questions, present my memberships — designed to turn a one-off session into a real path — or let you offer a gift card to your loved ones.
Before you leave, I offer you one last herbal tea, a coffee or a glass of water. I always plan time for integration after each treatment, but as I have no waiting room, this moment cannot go on too long so that I can welcome the next person in the best conditions.
